The Life of a Nerd - the Journal of Jessica Ditzler
This is the journal of Jessica Ditzler. She is, well, different. No, she isn't in a wheelchair, and she has all her limbs. No, she isn't royalty. And she has a pretty normal family. She's homeschooled. She's a nerd. She can spell. But she also is pretty normal. She has normal friends, and all that. But she doesn't really know if she likes being a nerd, or if she wants to be a normal kid. Read her journal. Maybe, just maybe, you'll look at the kids you consider to be nerds differently. But maybe you'll just have a funny story to read for a while. Which just fine, too. Just read it.
